About

I’m an associate professor in the Department of Government at the University of Texas. I received my Ph.D. in political science from Emory University (2008), with a brief stop at the University of Kentucky along the way, and my B.A. in political science from Transylvania University (2002). Before coming to UT, I spent three years as an assistant professor of political science at the University of Colorado.
